I had a great experience at E-QIP - smart teachers that gave encouraging attention to each student, very small class sizes, a friendly, energized, and professional environment, and virtually no stress… The structure felt very well thought out -  the schedule of classes was ideal for staying alert and attentive… It's nothing like the language classes I took in high school…

The classes are oriented towards speaking, everyday situations, for you to feel confident in your everyday activities… groups are small and that is perfect for rapid advancement…

E-QIP makes learning French fun and I never thought I would have the confidence to speak and connect with people using a completely different language…

Terrific school and staff.  I took a one week intensive french class and really got a lot out of it. The classes are structured in a way that gives a lot of time to speaking as well as learning grammar and vocabulary… There is a nice continuity between classes so what you learn in one class, you practice in the next… I got some very good tips for how to continue my French practice outside of the class and some good tips for how to accelerate my learning path… very supportive and clear in their communication and teaching…

In the past I've had difficulty getting on with more traditional language learning, so E-QIP was perfect for me as the style of teaching is very laid back, modern and informal… The teachers were all so enthusiastic and encouraging, and the atmosphere in the school is ridiculously welcoming and relaxed…

I was used to the more traditional teaching methods common in Europe and was delighted by the conversation and interaction based curriculum at E-QIP… It was a confidence boosting and liberating experience...

The 45min format of classes was great for keeping my attention and the change of teachers for each class means you don’t get used to one accent…

I love that the classes are structured (one unit of composition, one unit of grammar, one unit of conversation) but not TOO structured… This makes the learning process a lot more fun, which is important for someone like me who doesn't thrive in a tedious classroom environment that's 100% grammar focused.

Our classes emphasized speaking, and I could see my own "shyness" about speaking gradually fade with time… Teachers were interested in our education and were always very sensitive as they developed our language skills… They took notes everyday on each student, which aided individual progress…

Both the methodology and its implementation at E-QIP are superior to anything I've ever experienced in college or at the Alliance Francaise… They maintain a strong emphasis on speaking and listening that diminishes bashfulness and brings out the best, friendliest, most lucid version of every student...

I’ve learned different languages using various methods, and even tried learning French before. But never have I encountered a method quite as the one E-QIP uses… The atmosphere and materials are great. A wonderful place to learn… 

I was really impressed by 1) the overall teaching philosophy and 2) the infinite patience of their teachers. If you only learned a foreign language the old fashioned, classroom-based way and as a result hated the experience, E-QIP's methods and atmosphere will come as a (good) shock to you. At first, I felt thrown into the deep end because my French is still at the very beginning level. However, E-QIP's teachers are supportive, patient and kind, and the language learning approach is very communicative.

The school is run very professionally and all interactions with them were smooth and easy. The teachers are committed and knowledgeable - not just about the languages they teach, but about how to teach and learn languages. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Melhor sistema de ensino que ja vi. Sem teste e cada aluno tem uma atencao diferciada. <Best teaching system I have ever seen. No tests and each student has differentiated attention.> Os professores sao os melhores, vou sentir falta.

They have a flexible teaching method that is more customized for the students in each class. Also, there are 3 different teachers each hour, who rotate each week, so you get to know all the teachers and their teaching styles. Also, very fun atmosphere; everyone makes friends here pretty quickly.

Currently taking Spanish here and am loving it. The teachers are all really friendly and professional. What I like most is the ability to learn entirely through speaking and making mistakes instead of the traditional grammar/spelling lessons that get tiring way too fast. Absolutamente lo recomenderia.

Wow, this school was exactly what I needed! I had a private tutor in French at a very high level exactly tailored to my needs at a reasonable price. Because I want to keep learning at E-QIP I have canceled future trips to Brussels and Paris and I'm coming back to Montreal!

E-QIP is different from other traditional schools! Especially teachers focus on each student's needs and area's carefully so I could get immediate feedback from them. It helped me work on it by myself. While I studied in E-QIP, I learned a lot other than just languages, such as culture, relationship, life etc etc. I won't forget every and each moment I have shared in E-QIP.

Os três meses que passei estudando inglês no E-QIP foram mais efetivos do que toda uma vida de estudos no Brasil! O método de ensino é muito bom, os professores são excelentes e as aulas muito dinâmicas. O objetivo deles é fazer com que a gente "estude menos e fale mais" e é realmente o que acontece por lá! <Their goal is to get us to "study less and talk more" and that is really what happens there!>

Mon experience à E-QIP m'a permis d'avoir plus confiance en moi, j’aime vraiment j’apprends toujours, les profs sont merveilleux! Et c’est vraiment un plaisir de pouvoir pratiquer comme ça au lieu de beaucoup écrire pour rien. <And it's really a pleasure to be able to practice like that instead of writing a lot for nothing.> Et le fait qu’il ait moins d’élève permet vraiment à tout le monde d’avoir le temp de s’exprimer et ça permet aux prof de nous aider one by one just parfait.

Passei bons meses nessa escola. Não foi minha primeira tentativa de estudar francês mas foi a que deu mais certo para mim (depois de mais de uma década de desistência). O fato de se concentrarem mais em desenvolver as habilidades de expressão, e não necessariamente na morfologia e gramática durante 3h, foi crucial para mim. Claro que se estuda mas as aulas vão além. Cada aluno é avaliado de maneira individual dentro do grupo. <The fact that they focus more on developing speaking skills, and not necessarily on morphology and grammar for 3 hrs, was crucial for me. Of course you study, but the classes go beyond that. Each student is evaluated individually within the group.>

Yo soy mexicana y estudie frances durante 6 meses en E-QIP, fue una experiencia muy muy enriquecedora y agradable, los maestros son muy abiertos y dispuestos a ayudarte en todo momento y siempre con una actitud super positiva lo cual hace las clases muy amenas. Ich war ein Teil dieser Schule für knapp vier Wochen. Ich habe das Intensive 30 Programm gebucht. Die familiäre Atmosphäre und die netten Leute sind definitiv ein Grund sich für diese Schule zu entscheiden. Die Lehrer sind sehr offenherzig und sehr geduldig. <The family atmosphere and the nice people are definitely a reason to choose this school. The teachers are very open-hearted and very patient.> Insgesamt habe ich viele neue, wertvolle Erfahrungen gesammelt und mein Englisch hat sich auch sehr verbessert :) Gerne wieder :)

E-QIP was an absolutely wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school… you begin to improve without even noticing. Teachers are attentive to your individual needs and have a unique way of promoting interaction and speaking during classes. Everyday I was excited to come to classes and learn, I never felt pressured to participate, and never felt embarrassed to try. The best time and money spent in Montreal thus far!

I was at this school for only 2 weeks. But, I must say that my stay here was very effective for me, because my French has become better. I had more opportunities to speak French than in other schools. In addition, many things in French grammar have become clearer to me.

Most of the teachers are young, professional, and fun, which gives a modern and casual feel to the learning experience…

I learned English for about 1 year at E-QIP. At first I intended to study there for 3 months or so, but I came to enjoy studying English at the school and extended the period. Teachers at E-QIP are all nice and dedicated. What is better, they have good skills to teach and always respect us and listen to our requests.

E-QIP offers small classes and it was good for me. It made me easier to ask questions and say something during classes.

Before I started to study at E-QIP, I'd hardly talked to native English speakers. But thanks to E-QIP, my English skill improved and I got more confident than before.

They offer interesting activities that give us good chances to speak English without feeling stressful and make friends with other students.

Staff at the front desk were kind, so when you need their help , I'm sure they are willing to help you.

I took 2-3 semesters of Japanese group class a few years ago. I found the teacher covered a lot of useful topics and give us plenty of practice not just reading and writing but speaking and listening as well. Afterward, I visited Japan for 2 months and was so happy to be able to have small conversations with locals. I am really thankful for E-QIP method of teaching. They also offer interesting community activities to discover more about the culture outside of a classroom setting.

Highly recommended to anyone with a serious intent to learn to communicate in French.  Both the methodology and its implementation at E-QIP are superior to anything I've ever experienced in college or at the Alliance Francaise.  They maintain a strong emphasis on speaking and listening that diminishes bashfulness and brings out the best, friendliest, most lucid version of every student.  In time, all the speaking and listening refinements trickle down to reading and writing skills, which organically improve.
